About this IFS professional:
I work therapeutically with young people aged 16+ and adults. My work is informed by psychodynamic thinking, attachment theory and compassionate, awareness-based approaches to emotional suffering, including Buddhist psychology as well as IFS. I have a particular interest in working with people whose difficulties have their roots in early relational trauma. These experiences can shape how we see ourselves, how safe we feel with others and how we manage closeness, conflict and emotional intensity. IFS supports this work by helping to access and understand unresolved memories and limiting beliefs that shape our inner world, bringing greater clarity, compassion, understanding and love.
