About this IFS professional:
My name is Mel. I’m a specialist trauma therapist based in Gateshead, in the north east of England.
I am an accredited EMDR therapist as well as being qualified in IFS therapy. My specialism is to work with the way in which trauma has impacted on us through our lives, so we are no longer held back by the past.
I have a special interest in working with people who have struggled to get their needs met by the NHS or other statutory services. I work in a relational manner and place a great deal of emphasis on building a good therapeutic relationship.
