About this IFS professional:
I work online with adults and older adults, addressing relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, etc.
IFS explores the different Parts or aspects of our experience to resolve inner conflict and suffering from unresolved traumatic incidents. Our minds are a system of Parts, all of which have positive intentions even though their behaviour can be problematic. We also have a core Self, that is not a Part, which underpins the healing process. My experience with ACT has many aspects that underpin IFS–the centrality of bringing ourselves into the present, developing a willingness to explore whatever aspects of our experience show up and becoming more at ease with discomfort.
