About this IFS professional:
Working with individuals, couples, families, long-term and shorter-term work. My practice is integrative, drawing on IFS, systemic, person-centred, psychodynamic and gestalt theories.
I believe IFS to be an incredibly effective and transformative approach, offering a respectful, non-pathologising way of understanding the human psyche. Rather than viewing symptoms or behaviours as problems to be eliminated, IFS sees them as protective strategies developed by inner “parts” trying to help us cope with pain, trauma or unmet needs. By creating a compassionate relationship with these parts—rather than battling or suppressing them—IFS allows for deep healing at the root of emotional wounds.
