My name is Holly Simon, and I suppose that my life experiences not only led me towards counselling but taught me great lessons that helped me to be understanding, accepting and to have an open mind.
Largely due to being a foster family through my childhood, I have multiple siblings, some of whom have disabilities and mental health concerns. I spent 30 years in policing, working across multiple areas, including 6 years as a hostage and crisis negotiator. I have heard many stories, as varied and interesting as the people who told them.
