About this IFS professional:
I worked as a Clinical Psychologist in NHS adult community mental health services for 15 years, offering training, therapy and consultation from a relational and trauma-informed psychological perspective. I have a special interest in the mind-body connection, informed by an understanding of psychological distress via the nervous system. I engaged in a personal therapy with an ego state/EMDR somatic practitioner, which liberated and supported me to make huge changes in my personal and professional direction. Therefore, now in my private practice, I am most often integrating IFS with EMDR, drawing on my knowledge and experience working complexity, and applying it to all human systems.
